The Commodore 64 was an 8-bit home computer released by 1982, at a price of $595. It featured 64 kilobytes of RAM with sound and graphics performance that were superior to IBM-compatible computers of that time. It is the best-selling single personal computer model of all time, with sales totaling 30 million units. At that time, this computer had a 40% market share… that’s no joke! Fans still are using them today for games and nostalgia.
