The Robust Collection Never Stops
April 28th, 2008 Posted in ProductsThe Robust Flavor collection of stuff goes on for days and days. Featured here is a small sampling of some of the weird and the wonderful.
There are some Japanese coffees-in-a-can; wonderful concoctions as if they were fresh-brewed especially for you. If caffeine is your game then they really do the trick!
Then we have a three tape selection ‘Jim Nabors Sings’, containing all of Jim Nabors’ warbly-voiced greatest hits. (You may remember Jim as Gomer Pyle on The Andy Griffith Show).
Next is a vintage Michelin Man figure. Standing approximately 14 inches tall, this is a prized possession. The Michelin Man, or Bibendum, was introduced in 1898, by French artist O’Galop, and one of the world’s oldest trademarks. André Michelin apparently commissioned the creation of this jolly, rotund figure after his brother observed that a display of stacked tires resembled a human form. Today, Bibendum is one of the world’s most recognized trademarks, representing Michelin in over 150 countries.
Then there is a vintage hand operated calendar. Slightly rusty and a little worn, it keeps us up to date so we know what day it is.
Stay tuned for more nifty surprises from our collection soon. Until then, check out more cool stuff here.
