RF: Where did you grow up?
Scotty: Deep in the Valley, Southern California

RF: When did you start doing sales?
Scotty: 2 years ago

RF: What were you into growing up?
Scotty: Skateboarding, snowboarding, throwing rocks at cars and other childish acts of nonsense

RF: Which brands have you worked for throughout your career?
Scotty: Magnum Force, Active, Transworld, Brooklyn Projects, Bromuda Triangle and now The Hundreds

RF: Where in the world has your work taken you?
Scotty: Well, I’m answering this interview from Barcelona, but I’ve been to London, Paris, Barcelona, Miami, Orlando, New York, Boston, Philly

RF: Are you easy to work with?
Scotty: I suppose.

RF: Most memorable memories?
Scotty: Youth Brigade and Rancid @ Henry Fonda Theater on 10/20/06

RF: What’s your favorite place?
Scotty: New York City & Mt. High with the homies.

RF: Who or what inspires you?
Scotty: Shredding with the homies, good music

RF: Favorite brands?
Scotty: Vans Syndicate, Invisible:Man, Grenade, Forum

RF: Any favorite designers?
Scotty: Marc Jacobs

RF: What else do you do for fun outside of work?
Scotty: Snowboarding, skating, and I try to go to a lot of shows…

RF: Describe a typical Scotty Ill day:
Scotty: Well, lately, wake up around 7-7:30 a.m., watch Joe Sexton’s part in Child Support to get motivated for the day, answer emails and make phone calls until people stop responding and answering my calls. Head to 7-11 or McDonalds for dinner because I don’t know how to cook. Probably download a bunch of really bad music throughout the day as well.

RF: What is next for The Hundreds in 2008?
Scotty: It’s our 5 year anniversary, so keep your eyes open.
