Jam At Bob Burnquist’s Skate Complex

On April 21st there was a get-together and jam at Bob Burnquist’s skate complex and farm. It was in celebration of Earth Day and a number of professional and amateur skateboarders were in attendance as well as The Skateboard Mag, Transworld Skateboarding, Transworld Surf, Fuel TV and the local San Diego NBC and CBS tv news crews.
Highlights included Bob’s combo mega ramp backside 180 to switch Japan air on the quarterpipe, his Jumpman quarterpipe kickflip, Jaws Homoki’s padless McTwist on vert, Danny DiCola’s gap transfer of death, Nilton Neves skating vert on a vintage sidewalk surfer board, Bill Byrne’s backside air on vert and Ben Raybourn’s lofty airs over the channel.
