RF: Where did you grow up?
Tristan: Del Mar CA

RF: What were you into growing up?
Tristan: Surfing, boys, music, girl scouts, boys

RF: What do you worry about?
Tristan: Whether or not i forgot to zip my pants up before I walk out on stage.

RF: How important is it if famous people listen to your music?
Tristan: Not that important

RF: Do you like everything you do?
Tristan: Pretty much

RF: How did you know you wanted to be a musician?
Tristan: I didn’t

RF: Are you easy to work with?
Tristan: I would say so, no diva moments or M&M’s separated into different bowls.

RF: What’s your favorite place?
Tristan: Home

RF: Who or what inspires you?
Tristan: Everything, a new day, the ocean, my friends, traveling

RF: What, if any, other musicians do you like?
Tristan: I like so much music it’s crazy, I would say anything with a good groove.

RF: Outside of work, what do you do for fun?
Tristan: Cook, hang with my girls over a glass of wine, paint ceramics.

RF: Is there a 2008 trend?
Tristan: Oh man, probably, Uncle Junie would know for sure!

RF: What’s next for your work?
Tristan: I am in the airport right now, travel travel…tour tour, play play, connect with people through music…life is good.

RF: What do you miss the most from home when on tour?
Tristan: My bed, my boyfriend, my surfboard…and going into UNIV every other day to look at their killer selection of Marc Jacobs sunglasses and Insight goods.
