Tip #36- Don’t Flush Paint Down The Toilet
February 23rd, 2008 Posted in RandomRobust Flavor presents Tip #36 which tells us to don’t flush paint down the toilet. A couple of cloggers and overflowing commodes at the Robust Flavor World Headquarters resulted in a call to the good folks at Roto Rooter.
They brought out the heavy equipment with them. After snaking the pipes and further CSI-style forensics investigation with a state-of-the-art $10,000 toilet pipe camera they arrived at a verdict. Over the years, large amounts of paint had been expelled into the pipes, resulting in coagulation and thus creating a weak flush and potential for overflow. Needless to say, after a 4000-psi pressure wash, our pipes are clean.
